Osteopaths
Nicholas trained at the London School of Osteopathy where he went on to become
a Clinical Supervisor. Since 1994 he has shared his time between his own practice
at Fiveways in Brighton and here at Broadwater. He first became interested
in osteopathy after suffering from bouts of acute low back pain in his early
twenties and therefore has a particularly keen personal interest in the treatment
and maintenance of low back health.
For many years a keen distance runner, he has a good insight into the problems that active athletes may experience and their desire to keep active in the face of sporting injuries. More recently he has taken an interest in the effects of postural changes on the body, particularly relating to neck pain. This is especially relevant today as more people find themselves spending long periods in front of computers, subjecting their body to prolonged unnatural stresses and strains. Nicholas is a keen fair weather cyclist and walker and more recently has discovered the delights and pains of double digging, having acquired an allotment.
