Chiropodist
Sue qualified in 2001 as a Chiropodist at the Open College Of British Chiropody and Podiatry at Maidenhead,
Berkshire, and is registered with the Health Practice Council. She has also expanded her interest in health
and well being by training as a Reflexologist with the Kristine Walker School Clinic in Brighton, with interests
in Hotstone and Facial Reflexology.
Working previously within her own mobile practice, on London Public Health days, and supporting Chiropody needs in local NHS health care homes, Sue has developed an understanding of the requirements of the public as regards to their feet. Sue feels that the lifestyle, medical conditions and environment of the patient is extremely important, and this leads to appreciating their individual chiropody needs. Her goal is to work with the client to achieve comfort and relief from pain.
One of Sue’s chosen areas of particular interest is in treating fungal nail conditions, using skills such as the “wilde pedique” technique of prosthetic nails, with deflective padding to relieve painful areas by gentle palliative methods, helping to resolve foot problems overall.
Sue is keen to advise and help with your Chiropody needs and for all her B.O.P patients to have comfortable feet.
